The Westminster chimes had never been activated or used since it was installed and dedicated at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on September 22, 1985. It took a lot of research and effort but the chimes now call every 15 minutes and strike the hour as they should. This was a great personal accomplishment for me.
