On to 2014 and welcome to new challenges

2013 was a record year at Pine Knoll Clock Shop.  We saw business increase by double digit percentages and house calls alone doubled over the previous year.
For 2014 we will be introducing our line of wood gear clocks, reintroducing electroplating and metal polishing, and as always planning expansion of repairs and our antique clock offerings.  It is evident the expansion of our work area completed in 2013 is not enough and we will be creating additional work spaces in another building on our property.
I am working on tweaking the design of my light powered clocks for introduction in 2014 as well.  The light powered line will have dials and bodies crafted of repurposed materials such as old clock movement gears, reclaimed wood, reclaimed antique ceiling tins, and anything else I am able to obtain to create an artistic and unique time piece.  Both the line of wooden works clocks and the light powered clocks are kinetic sculpture as well as a means to tell time.  I am so very much looking forward to these new additions to the clock shop offerings!
I am very thankful and feeling extremely blessed for all of my customers and look forward to the uptick in business 2014 holds for the shop.
I hope all have a blessed 2014!
