Gilbert model 1909 movement with 6 bell strike

Gilbert Clock Company crafted several unusual clock movements in the early 1900's.  I received in for repair a Gilbert model 1909 movement with 6 bell random strike recently.  The clock had been sent out for repair several years prior and the repairman died in the middle of the task; thus the clock sat in pieces for many more years until the original owners grandson located my shop and had his wife bring the movement in for evaluation.  The movement was missing a few parts to the striking train; I fabricated these pieces and reassembled the movement and chime section.  The clock now runs and sounds as it did 100 years ago.  Below is a short video taken inside of my shop of this movement in operation:
